POLL: What should be the next Canadian city to host an Olympics?

Hello Canada,

So the Olympics are over.  It was a great time of unity and patriotism across Canada.  I don't think we can ever say that Canada isn't patriotic.  I didn't buy it before the Olympics and I certainly don't buy it now.

There's one question that's ringing in my mind.  "What should be the next Canadian city to host an Olympics?"  Québec City, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton?  You tell me.

Heh, please take Ottawa out of the race... with the city council we have here it will never happen... they need ten years to decide on filling in a pothole.

And OC-transpo can't even handle normal travel, let alone millions of visitors...

We have plenty of rinks, and plenty of skiing slopes, though... and lord knows plenty of snow.

I just can't see it happening logistically.

There should be no bids for future Olympics until the economy is back on the right track.

I voted for Iqaluit. We don't need more costly circuses, even if they DO make us feel good for a few days.

There is still a world wide recession out there, and Canada has thousands of unemployed. There is still a powerful AGW lobby determined to force a cap and trade bill on us, and a government and Opposition who seem to agree with them.

Canada needs to spend money on new VIABLE technology to clean up industry, and we need to put our energy into creating new work opportunities for Canadians, rather than wasting ever decreasing funds on spectacles.

After we have our economy on a sound footing, perhaps through leading the world in clean energy production, THEN let's talk about another Olympics or other sports spectaculars.

The Olympics are a massive waste of money. I voted other in order say that NO CANADIAN CITY should ever be permitted to ever bid on the Olympics or any other huge wasteful useless sports show.

Toronto is by far the best choice and would be good for the summer Olympics but the socialist city hall won't allow it. (real conservative)

Love the video with Trump/Kyosaki. Kyosaki says the US is losing its middle class and that is true. When a country loses its middle class it is finished, it will become a totalitarian state in time. (real conservative)
